Wildhorse Gorge

Wildhorse Gorge runs north to south, from the Steens summit. It is the only gorge with a major lake in its upper bowl. Wildhorse Lake is the biggest and highest lake (8500') on the Steens, and is home to native Red Band trout and Lahontan cutthroat.
